Narrative Survey – Planet Earth – Episode 7, Extraordinary Fields

It’s shocking to me how basic and severe nature is and how startlingly uncaring people have become in our extraordinarily minute presence in history on this planet.

Giving a cross segment of all the significant field environments on the earth, this episode catches the enormous significance water plays in the pattern of life. The initial segment of the show follows the settling of snow geese, who attempt to safeguard their eggs and youthful from Cold foxes. While watching, I was helped to remember when I lived in a lodge on a lake in Southern Oregon. During my most memorable year there, two Canadian geese endeavored to raise their young on an old sign in the water that we utilized as a wave break for our dock. Each day, I would bounce in the boat and back out leisurely, passing the goose, laying on her eggs a couple of feet from my boat. At some point, I peered down structure the lodge and could see a group of geese on the bank – she had effectively brought forth her little, yellow gosling and I had an unparalleled view.

The final part of great importance traveled through the Tibetan Level, and afterward into the African Savannah to watch elephants frantically drinking from a water opening, close to a pride of lions. Eventually, as night came, one unfortunate elephant was served up as the prides’ week by week feast.

It makes one wonder: to what do we certify ourselves just like those so profoundly developed? Is it true that we are obviously superior to this, than these creatures and their dining experience and starvation presence? Do we, as people, not likewise work from the foundation of our impulses to eat, have cover and reproduce? Is it since we think and can reason and can figure out considerations inside our heads and achieve them in the actual world? Toward the finish of all our endeavoring, would we say we are yet still not just creatures on the grassland, taking what we can, consuming what occurs for us?
